Volunteering at Day-Care Centers

Nothing says "love" like a child's smile! You can help feed and care for infants each day, volunteers stimulate, love and nurture them in a way a parent would. Just playing with these children will make a huge difference in their lives. And you will benefit from the healing smiles and warm hugs of your small charges. Physicians can also be helpful. Day-care centres are located in economical depressed areas of the city.
What kind of skills do I need?
Lots of love and be able and willing to give that love along with care, patience and understanding to children.
Your Role as a Volunteer
You will be involved in the day to day care of the children and be involved with playing with the children, running many types of craft activities, sports, , tutoring with homework. Perhaps teaching some English too or arranging creative activities such as drawing or arts and crafts.
Working Hours:
4-5 hours/day - 5 days a week (volunteers are reminded to remain flexible)
